A 2nd Year, Class 6 student at Ohananomitsu High School and Aijou Rentarou's 28th girlfriend.
Shiina, more commonly referred to as Usa-chan, is an overjoyed girl who likes to blend into crowded places. She has autophobia (the hatred and/or fear of being alone) which prevents her from doing solo activities (e.g. eating lunch at school and going to the bathroom by herself). She will panic and run away in tears if she feels lonely, much like a rabbit.
Name Pun Explanation:
Usami means "Roof" (宇), "Aid" (佐), and "Beauty" (美), Usami is also short abbreviations of Usagi no Mimi/bunny ears (ウサギの耳).
Shiina means "Castanopsis" (椎), and "Apple tree" (奈).
Her full name is a homophone pun of "Ugh, I'm so lonely." (うう淋しいな Uu samishii na?) which describes her personality.
