Nobuyuki Takeuchi

Takeuchi Noboyuki is an animator formerly belonging to Dragon Production and Studio Giants. He has a long standing history with studio Shaft, some of his earliest work for the studio being as an animation director on 1995's Juuni Senshi Bakuretsu Eto Ranger and 1997's Shoujo Kakumei Utena. In 1999, he and several other animators from Shaft were invited back to participate in the making of Utena's feature film, Shoujo Kakumei Utena: Adolescence Mokushiroku. Because of his close involvement with Utena, his storyboards and design work display considerable influence from the show's director, Ikuhara Kunihiko, who Takeuchi continues to collaborate with closely to this day.
